The world’s first AR escape room

As the Founder and President of the VR/AR Club, I led a team of coders, designers, and researchers in the development of a multiplayer AR escape room app—“Starcode”. Trapped in a spaceship doomed to crash into Earth, players must work together to solve puzzles and escape in the escape pod before time runs out.

“Starcode” features three rooms that players must unlock one at a time. The app features a minimap that displays the user’s location in relation to the entire escape room. Up to four users play together on networked iPads using ARKit’s Collaborative Sessions and ARCore’s Cloud Anchors capabilities.

Public release of “Starcode” is planned for the App Store and Play Store. Check out the demo video below.
