AR Card Game

Rethinking trading cards.

When I was 13, I created my first AR app—a multiplayer AR card game—as part of my year-long research project on augmented reality. “AR Cards” digitally superimposed 3D models of different spaceships I created in Maya on top of corresponding 2D physical cards, which I designed in Photoshop. I used Unity to combine the 2D and 3D assets and Vuforia to author the AR interactions. Several AR models could be projected onto cards simultaneously.
