Brain Journey VR
A VR journey through the brain
π Winner β Best VR App, Upload VR Juried Competition
When I was 14, I designed and coded an interactive VR adventure through the human brain. Players take on the role of nano-sized insect-bots that traverse the cerebrum and hippocampus.
I developed a unique and experimental walking locomotion system that, compared to most other VR apps that used joystick movements or teleportation, enabled users to literally move their physical arms back and forth to βwalkβ in the virtual world, providing an added sense of realism.
I was honored to win the top prize in a juried VR development competition, of which I was the only non-adult participant.
All the assets and textures were modeled in Maya, developed the game and code in Unity, and composed the music in Logic Pro X.
